Our Clinet is in the process of transforming its ERP landscape to enable the "intelligent enterprise". This is driven by the ASPIRE program, which is a multi-year initiative aiming at defining and developing the functional ERP roadmaps in order to simplify, standardize and automate business processes and systems leveraging industry and Client's best practices following a green field approach. ASPIRE is not about re-doing, it is about re-thinking and re-designing the backbone of our company.

The business analyst for Finance Analytics & Reporting will report to the Director of the Financial Solutions Group within Genentech Finance and is based in South San Francisco (min 3 days on site). This is a new role created to support the local deployment of ASPIRE at Genentech with a target go-live date of October 2024.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Gather and review current file interfaces (ie. extracts) from SAP/SAPBW to TM1 Planning system and Qlik/Tableau Dashboards (Qlik/Tableau)
• Create functional/technical specifications and work with IT developers to ensure these file extracts are created and tested from the new S/4, BW/4 environment
• Participate in user acceptance testing
• Identify and resolve/escalate risks, issues and ensure necessary changes are developed to meet the requirements
• Support the administration of the FRR (Financial Responsibility Reporting) Provisioning application
• Give access for FRR roles in CIDM
• Support Finance Managers with FRR Provisioning Application
• Ensuring the reports in FRR (BW) and FRR tableau are in Sync and accurate

You bring the following qualifications:

• Experience in SAP ERP/BW - implementations/migration and rollouts in a global environment - preferable S/4 HANA and BW/4, is a must
• Good knowledge and understanding of SAP FI CO incl. General Ledger, Assets accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project accounting
• Good knowledge of SAP BW for FI CO reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as this role will interface with multiple teams (business and IT) to gather and validate information
• Good understanding of financial processes and finance ERP, planning and Analytics & Reporting systems
• Knowledge of SAP BI Tools (S/4 HANA, SAC, BW/4) is helpful but not required
• Strong project/time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong adaptability mindset to support an agile and dynamic environment of constant priority changes
