Join us in making a real impact by applying your expertise in actuarial analyses and problem-solving to support our mission.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Utilize actuarial modeling software to perform pricing, valuation, and risk management analyses.• Enter data, run models, and generate reports to support product development and pricing decisions.• Maintain pricing structures and data integrity to achieve profitability and competitive goals.• Identify trends and areas for improvement, proposing remedies to optimize results.• Test pricing assumptions and evaluate premiums, reserves, and cash values for new products.• Serve as a resource for less experienced team members and contribute to problem resolution.• Adhere to USAA Actuarial Program Guidelines and Cross Train Program Guidelines.• Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience (total of 8 years) in lieu of a Degree.• 4 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience in addition to CAS exams: 1, 2, 3F, MA S-I, and MA S-II + completed VEEs.What sets you apart:• Experience in Personal Lines pricing.• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.• US military experience or affiliation.Benefits of the Position:• Competitive compensation within a defined salary range, with potential pay incentives based on performance.• Comprehensive benefits package supporting physical, financial, and emotional wellness, including medical, dental, and vision plans, retirement options, life insurance, parental benefits, adoption assistance, and paid time off.• Opportunities for career growth and continuing education support to enhance professional development.Salary:Salary range: $99,160 - $189,530 (Actual salary may vary by location.)About Company:USAA is dedicated to serving the financial needs of U.S. military members and their families.
