Inside Claims AdjusterJob Summary:As a USAA adjuster, you'll play a key role in handling complex bodily injury and UIM claims, all while focusing on outstanding member service through proactive communication and empathy.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Part of my job is to review comprehensive reports from medical professionals, investigators, and other specialists to gain a thorough understanding of the circumstances surrounding the claim.• Succinctly summarize the key components of the settlement agreement and explain the rationale behind each provision.• Engage in teamwork to overcome problems and give timely notifications about claims progress.• Foster a supportive environment by lending your skills and expertise to less experienced team members.• Guarantee adherence to protocols and regulations while managing risks in an effective manner.Qualifications and Experience:• It's important to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of both options before deciding which path to take.• Having devoted more than four years to working as a casualty adjuster, the candidate has honed their expertise in conducting claim investigations and settlements.• Acute expertise in the car insurance policy, legal judgments, and statewide laws and statutes.• Without an active insurance adjuster license obtained within 90 days, individuals cannot work in the insurance field lawfully.Benefits of the Position:• The applicant's profile must demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience in managing UM/UIM injury claims.• With my extensive experience of over two years in catastrophic injury law, I know how to navigate the legal system and build strong cases on behalf of my clients.• I am well-versed in handling injury claims across various states and their corresponding legal requirements.• The professional network and relationships formed in college are invaluable and contribute greatly to an individual's success in their chosen career path.• Insurance Designation.The actual pay for this job is location-dependent, but the salary range is between $81,770 and $156,290.About USAA:USAA's priority is to promote the economic security of U.S. military service members and their families.
