Job Summary:You will be responsible for leading a team of Auto Subrogation specialists, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively. You will provide coaching and feedback to employees, implement process improvements, and drive operational risk management and regulatory compliance.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.• Review the quality of claim files and provide feedback to employees as needed.• Coach employees to ensure they understand how their work contributes to overall claims and Enterprise strategies.• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and member experiences.• Achieve optimal productivity through workload management, staffing, training, and implementing appropriate solutions.• Monitor work to ensure consistent execution of processes and adherence to guidelines.• Handle escalations and make appropriate decisions based on policy.• Facilitate skill identification and career development for employees.• Hire, develop, and coach claims employees for results delivery.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.• 6 years of progressive customer service, operational, military, or leadership experience, including 2 years of claims handling experience.• 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory, or management experience.• Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions.• Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months in the role.What Sets You Apart:• Current experience as a Claims Manager/Supervisor.• Experience with Auto Claims (Non-Injury, Injury, or Auto Physical Damage).• Experience in Auto Claims subrogation/arbitration.• Claims leadership or team lead experience.• US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.Salary:The salary range for this position is $99,160 - $189,530, based on experience and market data.About USAA:USAA is committed to providing best-in-class benefits to support the physical, financial, and emotional wellness of our employees.
