Service Desk RepresentativeJob Summary:At USAA, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering outstanding service to our members. You will be entrusted with handling a variety of customer inquiries, promoting insurance sales, and guaranteeing that our members have the right coverage to protect their financial interests.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Manage all communications received from policyholders concerning their insurance plans, including but not limited to phone calls, email, and other messaging channels.• Our services extend to aid members with quotes, policy modifications, billing inquiries, and other insurance-related subjects.• With comprehensive knowledge of personal lines insurance, one can efficiently handle all member needs, including answering questions, managing policy changes, facilitating quotes and proposals, and resolving billing disputes.• Efficiently navigate multiple programs and systems to provide accurate assistance to members.• It is crucial to obtain and maintain the necessary licenses and registrations as per company policies and procedures.• Reputation risk may arise from negative publicity, social media posts, or non-compliance with industry regulations. A risk management plan must be in place that includes measures to mitigate the risk, including internal communication policies, and employing professional public relations advisors.Qualifications and Experience:• In order to be considered eligible for most entry-level positions, a high school degree or its equivalent is typically required.• Providing clear and expert guidance to members is crucial and requires excellent communication skills to be executed effectively via any communication means.• Capable of juggling numerous tasks simultaneously and skilled in efficiently navigating various business applications.• The understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance sector enables businesses to operate within legal and ethical frameworks, thus increasing trust between the firm and clients.• All newly hired employees are required to acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of their appointment.• Utilizing one year of customer contact experience to effectively connect with clients and their unique needs.• I have spent the last 6 months conversing with customers via phone, email, or face-to-face communication, thereby developing a valuable skill set for communication.• Despite the challenges, being part of the US military can offer a deep sense of pride and purpose, as well as the opportunity to develop skills and experiences that can be applicable both within and outside of military life.Benefits of the Position:• The hiring range ensures that candidates are offered a competitive compensation package that reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.• Performance-based pay that rewards high achievement.• A complete suite of benefits that addresses physical, financial, and emotional needs of the employees.• A package that provides employees with a paid time off scheme that encompasses both holidays and volunteer hours.• There are multiple wellness campaigns and career development possibilities for people to take advantage of.Salary:This job attracts a pay range of $45,010 to $47,510.About Company:At USAA, we strive to deliver exceptional insurance, banking, and financial services to our military members, veterans, and their families.
