Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented and critical-thinking professional to join USANA’s quality assurance team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will support our quality system by developing, maintaining, and facilitating our quality assurance systems and conducting routine quality assurance functions like quality records creation and completion, process and system verifications and improvements, and assisting with pest control.

What You Will Do as USANA’s Quality Assurance Specialist

• Facilitate the creation and completion of records for the deviation, CAPA, and quality investigation program
• Utilize electronic document management systems (DMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to lead deviation, corrective action, and change control processes
• Maintain material status, records, and other documents to support the USANA quality system
• Complete specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch production records (BPRs), and labels
• Write, edit, review, route, and implement controlled documents, such as policies, SOPs, specifications, BPRs, within the Document Management System
• Assist with the pest control program, including working with the external pest control operator as needed
• Investigate and resolve product and process problems related to quality issues.
• Assist in risk assessment meetings or processes, analyzing the risk of raw materials, suppliers, and methods to ensure compliance

Background and Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a life science field
• Minimum three years experience in quality assurance and cGMP preferred
• Quality auditing experience and auditing certification preferred
• Detail-oriented and analytical abilities
• Experience using enterprise resource planning programs and document management systems preferred
