Used Truck Mechanic

Just like the trucking business, Coopersburg Kenworth Used Truck Department is thriving! During this time of growth, we are looking to add an experienced full-time Diesel Technician to our team. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including diagnostics.
• Must keep bay area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy

Requirements:

• Positive attitude
• Must communicate effectively with managerial staff.
• Must work well individually and as part of a larger team.
• Will need to have the ability to sit, squat, bend, pull, and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout up to a twelve-hour shift.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair required.
• The ability to climb in and out of Class 8 vehicles, Cranes, Garbage trucks, Cement Mixers, and other vocational equipment.
• 2+ years shop experience preferred.
• Must possess a high school diploma /GED.
• Vocational or technical certification not required but preferred
• Will train the right candidate
