User Acceptance Tester

Job Summary

This position is responsible for implementing the test approach and strategy for test automation and test analytics and enforcing test quality standards. Providing whole project support and oversight, as well as integration with other projects. Serving as a mentor and support for the user acceptance tester. Maintaining up to date knowledge of intricate and complicated claim processes and procedures. Assisting in the set up and maintenance of testing tools reviewing UAT tester plans and providing guidance. Troubleshooting, in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software. Generating defect reports for issues found during testing and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders. Focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments. Managing multiple testing projects concurrently.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree and 2 years of claims platform testing experience OR 6 years of claims platform testing experience.
  • 2 years of complex claim experience.
  • Knowledge of benefit provisions of group contracts and system interface skills.
  • Experience with analysis, verification and testing of claims coding.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of medical and industry terminology.
