Lead Accountant

Client: Hotel/Hospitality OrganizationRole: Lead AccountantSalary: $80,000 - $85,000/annually + BenefitsLocation: Union Square, NY - *5 days a week onsite*Job Description:• To complete supplier statement check and supplier pay runs from M3 (accounting system)• Weekly bank reconciliations• Providing remittances advice to suppliers• Exporting invoices from purchasing system on a daily basis• Creating and issuing manual invoices• Administering and processing commissions• Intercompany Billing• Maintaining ageing levels as per Hotel policy• Supporting the Stock Controller re billing and reconciliations• Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts.• Maintaining the AR & Guest ledgers (PM's) and having strong inter department working relationships/communication.• Performing balance sheet reviews monthly on relevant accounts.• Covering other roles within the department on an ad hoc basis i.e. Income Audit
