Lead Mobile Engineer

The Lead Mobile Engineer will lead mobile app development across multiple brands, supporting both native and cross-platform frameworks. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively explain technical solutions to business partners, deep technical expertise in mobile app development, and the ability to work autonomously in an agile environment.Key Responsibilities• Serve as the primary point of contact for all mobile app design and development.• Lead feasibility analysis for mobile app designs.• Drive mobile app development across Android, iOS, and cross-platform frameworks like React Native.• Collaborate with product and technology teams to plan and prioritize development tasks.• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for mobile app development.• Research, assess, and implement new features to enhance user engagement and conversion.• Provide long-term architectural insights for the technology team.• Ensure timely updates on industry trends and best practices in mobile app development.• Design solutions to address product gaps.• Support product releases and resolve production issues as needed.• Utilize cloud infrastructure knowledge and contribute to the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on end-user experience.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.• 5+ years of experience in Android and iOS development.• 5+ years of experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native, Ionic, or Xamarin.• Experience with app deployment strategies, testing, and experimentation.Skills & Abilities• Expert in Android and iOS development using native and cross-platform frameworks.• Proficient in debugging and solving performance issues in mobile apps.• Experience integrating payment solutions and social logins into mobile apps.• Strong ability to create high-performing mobile apps.• Proficient in REST API and GraphQL services.• Knowledgeable in CI/CD practices, GIT, Jira, and Confluence.• Experience with CMS platforms like Sitecore and QSR solutions like OLO is a plus.• Strong communication skills, able to present complex technical concepts clearly.• Capable of balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
