Full-Stack Software Engineer

Valor Equity Partners is looking for a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join Valor Labs in Chicago. The role involves building responsive web applications, maintaining REST APIs, and collaborating with stakeholders to support the Firm's investment processes.

Skills

Exceptional coding skills in Javascript and Python
Additional skills in Flask, Django, or FastAPI
Experience with React or similar front-end framework
Proficiency in SQL and working with multiple database types
Experience with modern cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure

Responsibilities

Build responsive web applications using React Hooks and Material UI in a PWA
Build and maintain modern REST APIs
Collaborate with stakeholders to build valuable products and features
Contribute ideas for improving and automating software engineering processes

Education

B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
