As the Senior Manager of the NBTR team, you will be accountable for developing a team of managers and specialists in owning the charge in advancing strategic investment product opportunities, communicating innovative ideas to mitigate risks, and optimizing product integration and launches. Your role will involve anticipating challenges and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. PRD, Investment Management Group, Institutional, and FAS) to ensure seamless execution of fund events. Dive deep into the end-to-end product portfolio lifecycle and be a part of paving the way for new product types and successful product launches.
Responsibilities:
Hires, evaluates, and develops a high performing team of managers and specialists. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of Financial Services industry forces, competition, and trends to act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Monitors financial, legal, and other regulatory environments to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
Communicates with stakeholders, leaders, team members, management, and department partners to ensure that requirements and priorities are understood. Monitors project progress and results and engages with management and internal and external stakeholders to ensure. Ensures the development and execution of business change management and communication plans by applying a “horizontal” lens to the fund ecosystem, driving integration that cuts across departmental boundaries.
Builds and manages relationships with crew across the enterprise and proactively cultivate effective communication between internal and external parties. Drives key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders. Establishes global standards and consistency while recognizing regional nuances, operation and stakeholder locations.
Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Maintains an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of eight years related business experience, with at least four years of program and project management experience. Previous people-leadership experience preferred. Financial Services and function-specific experience required.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
