At Varjo, we're pushing the boundaries of immersive experiences, and now we're building something truly revolutionary with our new service, Teleport, that allows anyone to effortlessly create photorealistic virtual recreations of real-world locations, and share them to be explored in virtual reality or 2D.
We’re looking for an ambitious and creative Growth Marketing Lead, Teleport for a fixed-term 6 months contract to lead the charge in scaling our service to new heights. This is a senior individual contributor role with a heavy focus on user acquisition in Teleport’s product-led growth journey. The person will be a part of Varjo’s global marketing team but in practice work closely with Teleport’s product and engineering teams on a daily basis to build and scale the new service.
We are open to considering freelancers, but our preference is to fill the role with a fixed-term employee. Succeeding in this job will require regular visits to our HQ in Helsinki to test our new products and features. Our team works in a hybrid mode, and part of the work can be done remotely. Full remote work is not possible in this role.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and Execute Core Growth Marketing Strategies: Define and implement key growth marketing activities, including tracking platforms and advertising tools. Create and execute growth marketing strategies aligned with Teleport’s business objectives.
- Drive User Acquisition: Lead user acquisition by running multi-channel experimentation across digital marketing, social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and beyond.
- Shape Product and Content Marketing: Work closely with Varjo’s in-house product and content marketing and the Teleport product and engineering teams to define target audiences and craft compelling messaging that resonates. Ensure that the product’s unique selling points are clear and effectively communicated to the right audiences.
- Make Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics and data insights to assess day-to-day marketing performance. Optimize growth marketing initiatives using real-time data on user behavior and performance metrics, pivoting and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Manage Budget for Maximum Impact: Take ownership of the Teleport marketing budget. Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize return on investment.
Our expectations:
- 5+ years of full-stack growth marketing experience, ideally within high-tech / SaaS PLG environments. A proven track record of driving significant user growth and engagement is essential.
- A startup mindset combined with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done independently. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
