Back End Developer (Java) - 4790

VASS, a leading digital solutions group, is seeking a Mid-Level Back End Developer (Java) to work remotely with the European Commission.

Skills

Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring boot frameworks
Good knowledge of Git, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, and SonarQube
Experience with security protocols and web services
Familiarity with databases, directories, and transactions

Responsibilities

Provide expert advice on J2EE, web services, and SSL/TLS technologies
Develop Java applications with a focus on unit test coverage
Design and develop APIs and scalable software
Troubleshoot and identify improvements in code
Write technical documentation and conduct PoCs

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
