JOB SUMMARY:  The YouTube PSP (Platform Strategy Producer) must be dynamic and results-driven. This role involves developing and executing strategies that maximize audience engagement, drive subscriber growth, and create compelling content experiences for our YouTube accounts. The YouTube PSP is a crucial liaison between the creative vision, production staff, and YouTube platform. They balance artistic integrity with business objectives and ensure the YouTube content drives growth and awareness. The position will report directly to the Director of Social Media. Please note: This is a temp2perm opportunity with VF.

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and competitive channels to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Thus, developing and implementing a comprehensive YouTube growth strategy for VeeFriends’ YouTube channels. Set measurable goals and KPIs for subscriber growth, viewership, and engagement metrics. Collaborate with content creators and internal teams to ensure alignment with brand voice and objectives. Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes and platform updates, adjusting strategies as needed. Execute against creating playlists, cuts, remixes, and slices of existing content to give the existing content more at-bats. 
• Content Development & Optimization: Oversee content strategy, including ideation, production schedules, video formats, and thematic direction. Work closely with animation contractors and the cards marketing manager to create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences. Ensure consistent posting schedules to maintain and grow audience engagement. Optimize video thumbnails, titles, and descriptions for maximum click-through rates and discoverability.
• Audience Growth & Engagement: Drive strategies for organic audience growth through SEO, hashtags, trending content, and engagement tactics. Build and nurture an active YouTube community by encouraging likes, comments, and subscriptions. Manage community interactions, including responding to comments and facilitating user-generated content.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track performance to regularly report channel performance, trends, and milestones, providing actionable insights to guide future strategies. Conduct A/B testing on different content types, formats, and techniques to improve performance. Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes and platform updates, adjusting strategy as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree or High school diploma with equivalent work experience. 
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in YouTube content strategy, growth hacking, or social media management.
• Proven track record of scaling YouTube channels or other digital platforms.
• Experience with YouTube SEO, analytics, and content creation.
• Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, best practices, and community-building strategies.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Creative and strategic thinker with an eye for compelling video content and audience engagement.
• Proficient in editing and creating remixes of different content types. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Adaptability to changing trends and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning. Creative to collaborate and share ideas through teamwork.
• This role requires Tuesday and Thursday onsite in our NY Hudson Yards office. You may be required to take additional days onsite, subject to discussion with your manager.
