The Role


The Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager position is responsible for ensuring our multi-billion dollar subscription and services revenue base converts to collected cash on a timely basis. Responsibilities include managing the AR portfolio to ensure timeliness of collections, overseeing cash applications and reporting, and building strong partnerships with both internal and external customers. The role manages a global team of 10-12 today, and is responsible for maintaining a strong, focused, and high-performing team.


What You'll Do
  • Lead a global team of 10-12 accounts receivables professionals, creating a strong team culture, clear direction, and high bar for execution
  • Assess the effectiveness of current processes to identify ways to improve the timeliness of payments
  • Develop and maintain high-quality processes, lead analysts, and work effectively across the Veeva organization to identify and resolve operational challenges that could potentially impact the invoicing of our customers and cash collections
  • Collaborate with the leadership of the Finance, Sales, and IT teams to support the best customer experience for existing Veeva customers
  • Drive cash forecasting and report on trends
  • Recruit and hire team members, as necessary, who can work independently and deliver high-quality results consistently


Requirements
  • 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ in a finance role
  • 5+ years of managing teams in a dynamic environment
  • Highly developed written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Goal-oriented and strong attention to detail and quality of execution
  • Enjoy a dynamic environment and be confident when juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong service orientation; enjoy designing and delivering great customer experiences
  • Confident in dealing with company personnel at all levels

Compensation
  • Base pay: $100,000 - $160,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
