The Role

Veeva’s OpenData team is seeking an intern Data Analyst to join our team in Singapore for 4-6 months.

OpenData's vision is to facilitate stronger connections between the life sciences industry and healthcare ecosystems, ultimately enhancing patient care. The OpenData Product offers extensive reference and profile data across critical healthcare domains, equipping the industry with the right data to drive innovation and progress.

The Data Analyst will be delivering accurate data matching results to our customers and implementing automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation tools, and a passion for optimizing data workflows to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role will be based in Singapore.

• Generate reports required for pre-sale meetings or customer requests
• Perform data analysis to match customer requirements with available datasets
• Develop and improve automated processes for data matching and result generation
• Explore matching algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the data-matching process
• Present and document work in a clear and precise manner

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail when performing data workflows and processes
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Understanding of relational database models
• Demonstrates autonomy, proactivity, and accountability
• Fluent in English with good communication skills

• Experience with implementing and optimizing automated data workflows and processes
