Vendor Management Associate

Are you an analytical problem solver with strong interpersonal skills? Do you have a passion for customer service and an interest in problem-solving? Individual Life is looking for a qualified candidate to join its Vendor Management Office (VMO). As Vendor Administrator, you will help create a seamless underwriting experience for our applicants and ensure vendor adherence to performance and billing standards.
You are
  • Customer focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Diligent, exhibiting a high degree of accuracy in all responsibilities
  • Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • An out-of-the-box, critical thinker
  • Comfortable with basic math and number crunching
  • Adept at identifying patterns and trends in data

  • A teammate, while also being able to work independently
  • A resourceful self-starter
You will
  • Order and retrieve vendor requirements requested by underwriters
  • Deliver a 5-star experience to underwriters, agencies, and customers by identifying and thoroughly addressing vendor-related complaints, issues, and requests
  • Identify billing discrepancies and potential credits through thorough, creative, and timely auditing of monthly invoices.
  • Perform proactive audits of vendor performance.
  • Coach agency employees on vendor processes and expectations.
  • Provide support to Vendor Manager for pilots and projects.
You Have
  • 3-5 years of administrative support experience
  • Insurance experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Location & Travel
  • The primary location for this position is remote with an “at home” work arrangement. Occasional travel to Bethlehem, PA will be required.
Salary Range
$46,310.00 - $69,462.50
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
