Mid-Level Engineer

This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual having engineering experience with submarine and surface ship fire control, and sonar. You will provide direct support to Navy program leadership inside the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems office. Surface ship and submarine torpedo defense systems are a key part of the work. A strong candidate will be highly proficient in consolidating inputs from multiple sources and program leadership into detailed, coherent products and documents used to inform senior Navy and DoD leaders as well as Congress. A candidate should have experience communicating and interfacing directly with senior leaders; leading efforts and tracking and completing multiple tasks simultaneously; working independently with little to no supervision; and providing objective, independent critical thinking. This position will allow you to make a major difference in an important, new and developing project.

Required Experience:

5-8 years of DoD experience
Operational or Acquisition or Engineering experience with combat and weapons control systems
Experience in Naval Defense Systems
Excellent communication skills
Able to work effectively with little direction and supervision
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
SECRET Clearance
