What You’ll Do:
Verify incoming freight, prepares labels for shipment.
Visually verify identity and quantity of merchandise against Bill of Lading, Packing List paperwork and company assigned paperwork.
Record evidence of tampering, shortages, excesses, damages or other unusual condition of merchandise.
Must be able to label merchandise in a concentrated fast-paced environment.
Contribute to goal of exceptional service in taking action when needed to communicate and resolve problems.
Ability to maintain attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
Provide outstanding service to the customer by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
Follow company or site-specific safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
Safely operates forklift or other machinery in order to assist the Warehouse operations needs such as: loading, unloading, and staging.
Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
What We Need from You:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ forklift experience.
Computer experience.
Forklift certified.
Able to record and track information using systems.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a position that requires analytical (mathematical) thinking.
