About the Role

As a Business Analyst in our Product team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our offerings. Based in our London office, you’ll collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Technology and commercial teams to improve the user experience, solve problems, and deliver value to our clients.

We’re looking for someone who can communicate complex ideas clearly, has strong analytical skills, and is comfortable making decisions amidst uncertainty. About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Perform requirements analysis, working closely with clients to understand and represent their needs.
  • Document user stories and requirements, taking into consideration the Product and Technical Strategies
  • Collaborate with User Experience (UX) to create customer-centred and impactful solutions 
  • Coordinate the release of new features, working with Technology, Sales, Marketing and Client Success teams to ensure features are thoroughly tested, documented, and effectively communicated both internally and externally
  • Build business cases for new features and enhancements based on a blend of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis including, but not limited to, user analytics and user interviews
  • Support in the development and updating of training materials and other end user support documentation
  • Follow JIRA processes and ensure colleagues have all necessary information to implement requirements
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) team as appropriate
  • Become an expert in Maplecroft products, specifically oriented towards the Corporates segment
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the business including development and management

Qualifications

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

  • Degree-level education or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in a related role; some experience with ESG is desirable
  • Experience in working with SaaS products
  • Experience of owning and successfully driving the analysis and requirements gathering process within a data services or IT arena
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting and analysing user analytics data, with the ability to derive actionable insights to inform product decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and someone who enjoys the challenge of solving complex issues
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability and desire to take the initiative to drive features and products to completion
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of demonstrating diligence and precision when managing complex tasks and processes
