Job Purpose:Our Global Business Manager - International Packaging is responsible for overall customer relationship management including growing and managing sales and profit for strategic key customers. This position will receive first hand customer information and use it effectively and efficiently to create and drive program and project success.Job Responsibilities:● Define and execute on a strategic customer development plan that improves customer experience, drives revenue and margin growth, and creates collaborative customer engagement centered around innovation.● Understand customer needs and requirements translating those into a plan for cross functional teams.● Ensure successful execution across multiple International Packaging teams to meet customer objectives and company goals.● Maintain direct contact with key customer accounts through sales calls (globally and domestic) and business planning/review activities.● Analyze and interpret data to uncover successes/opportunities that will assist in identifying sales growth and new business opportunities.● Manage US based project management resources to ensure the right level of support is assigned to sales to drive the execution of sales opportunities .Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:● Experience and knowledge in Packaging is preferred.● Demonstrated ability to build new relationships and maintain strong customer relationships.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills required.● Ability to build new relationships and maintain strong customer relationships.● Effective interpersonal, negotiating and conflict management skills required.Salary range: $140,000- $190,000Work Experience:● 10-15 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:● Bachelor's Degree PreferredPhysical Requirements:● A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.● The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.● The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
