Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Full-Time) - Upper East Side, NYC
Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a rapidly growing emergency company focused on providing high-quality emergency medical care for pets. They are seeking a passionate and credentialed veterinary technician to join their team in New York.
Skills
- Veterinary technician certification
- Emergency medicine experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Treat patients with compassion & care
- Perform nursing care tasks and patient monitoring
- Administer medications and monitor effects
- Contribute to outpatient and inpatient care
- Participate in patient rounds for continuity of care
- Collect samples and perform diagnostic tests
- Coach and guide veterinary assistants
- Collaborate with teammates for optimal patient care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician
