About this role

BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. seeks Vice President in San Francisco, CA to partner and communicate with Portfolio teams to ensure that portfolio risks are fully understood and consistent with objectives and risk constraints and in applying proprietary techniques for portfolio construction and alpha generation. Req’s: Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: partnering with Portfolio teams to ensure that risks are fully understood and consistent with objectives and risk constraints; applying financial and statistical techniques to analyze portfolio risk and evolve risk monitoring and modeling techniques; working with portfolio teams in applying proprietary techniques for portfolio construction; supporting the creation, production and delivery of supervisory and managerial reports pertaining to risk management and performance attribution; presenting the results of technical analyses to audiences of different levels of technical expertise; applying exploratory statistical techniques to gain new insights from data sets and improve existing models; creating applications to enhance the risk management process by improving data management and automating processes; and writing code and conducting statistical analysis using R and Python. For California only the salary range for this position is $156,500 – $205,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
