What You'll Get To Work On

Humu's Nudge Engine® deploys thousands of customized nudges—small, personal steps—throughout organizations to empower every employee, manager, team, and leader as a change agent. Over time, our nudges grow increasingly aware of the timing, messaging, and motivational techniques that inspire individual employees towards action.

The Vice President, Partnerships will set the vision for how Humu scales through the partner landscape and global ecosystem channel. This is a new function for Humu, hence all partner-based routes to market are in scope, including Global Systems Integrators, Cloud Service Providers, Online Marketplaces, Technology Alliance Partners, and Venture Capital. The VP will drive strategy and execution of programs to grow the partner network and is responsible for pipeline and revenue creation across all channels as well as supporting operational programs. They will have to ruthlessly prioritize in order to focus on high impact channels first, iterate, and intentionally grow. The VP will collaborate with the sales team, marketing team, customer success team, product team, and enablement team to build an integrated ecosystem strategy aligned with Humu's strengths, priorities, and customer needs..

Where you fit in

This role works with all functions across Humu and reports directly to the COO. You will work in partnership with Product, Sales, Marketing, Solution Consulting (Pre-sales), People Science, & Customer Success, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. You will need the ability to think globally and strategically, while also being willing to roll-up your sleeves and execute various partner plays to test impact. This is a unique leader with partner knowledge and sales mindset; and, is a true evangelist for the needs of the business.

Role and responsibilities:

  • As a member of the leadership team, you will define and communicate the vision for Humu's partner ecosystem
  • You will work closely with leaders across sales, product, marketing, and customer success to formulate, launch, and iterate on the Humu partner strategy
  • Collaborate with the Product team to guide where Humu vs partner solutions will round out customer value propositions
  • Develop proven and new strategies with the CSO and RVPs to further penetrate enterprise accounts via the global ecosystem; reinforce steps and processes designed to deliver value at enterprise scale to Humu customers
  • Expand the customer base and Humu's growth plans via a broad, best of breed, ecosystem
  • Operate well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision. Can think creatively and independently to resolve conflict as well as solve problems
  • Build relationships and programs with GSI's and boutique consulting firms

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Enterprise experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 4+ years of vision and management experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate a strategy to the board, customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Prior experience developing and maintaining partner plans as well as negotiating & closing complex agreements
  • Global enterprise experience, specifically in North American and European markets
  • A strong knowledge of partner positioning, sales alignment, and product lifecycle management
  • Experience building, coaching and enabling a rapidly growing team
  • Capacity to work on cross-functional projects and teams as needed as well as leverage internal resources to problem-solve
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of complex, multi-vendor selling cycles
