Vice President, Private Equity

Your field of responsibility

We offer you a role on the investment team of the Private and Alternatives Groups (PAG) within Credit Suisse’s Wealth Management division. In this position you are responsible for the selection and monitoring of alternative investment solutions offered to clients, with a focus on private equity and other private assets. You will monitor an existing portfolio of US-focused private equity deals, including underwriting the investment rationale for follow-on capital calls, and support the underwriting of new fund investments and direct deals. You will also work together with internal teams in operations, accounting, legal, investor servicing, and client relations. In this role, you have a platform which gives you the chance to define and manage relationships with key business partners and senior management across the businesses and functions within a first-class organization with pioneering professional standards.

Your skills and experience


We are seeking an engaged and meticulous problem solver who takes initiative and can handle a variety of new challenges in a growing and fast-paced environment. The follow skills and experiences are required:

  • 7-10 years in investment banking or asset management experience, particularly in alternatives/private equity
  • Deep understanding of business strategy, corporate finance, and capital markets, with the capacity to perform deep dive fundamental due diligence on deals
  • Ability to work optimally with other members of the team on operational and investor servicing processes
  • University degree in finance or comparable education, e.g., CFA or similar preferred
  • Excellent communication capabilities, both in writing and through presentations
  • Confidence in working with an international team that spans the US, Europe, and Asia
  • Creative, motivated, and enthusiastic mentality with a desire to learn and develop new skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • English speaking, other languages a plus
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value varied perspectives
  • The salary range, if this role is being hired in New York City, is $148,000 - $220,000 annually, based on various factors such as experience, education, skills, internal and external market data, etc.
