Job Description
The Firm is seeking an experienced Vice President to join the Business Management team in its New York office. This role will be responsible for coordinating the daily business of the sales channels including data scrubbing, marketing campaigns, and aid the team in supporting and servicing our Wires, Regionals, Independent Broker Dealers (IBDs), RIAs, and Trust Bank partners. The individual will drive operational excellence and revenue growth of the business across analytics and enablement.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the acquisition, attribution, maintenance, and integrity of sales data for our global organization. Ensure the data provides high-quality and readily accessible information that is needed to effectively manage a sales organization as well as help individual sales professionals manage their territory
Work with multiple key stakeholders across all levels to communicate goals clearly and concisely and build consensus across teams to drive projects forward while being able to manage day-to-day tactical activities
Create, analyze and evolve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the associated reporting for the teams and individual roles. Partner closely with sales leadership to identify opportunities to improve performance and achieve targets
Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and year-end planning processes
Analyze large volumes of transaction, CRM activity, and industry data. Translate complex data into insights and recommendations to present to our sales leadership team
Create customized, relevant, and dynamic dashboards and/or reports for senior business/sales management, investment partners, distribution partners and sales and marketing
Research and recommend new data sets and reporting tools. Partner with internal partners and external vendors as we consider enterprise-wide improvements to our data and analytics capabilities
Evolve our use of Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency
Help prepare materials for ad hoc projects, including developing focused analytics, conducting industry research, and preparing presentations
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move towards consensus
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or related field
10+ years’ of demonstrable experience in reporting and analytics role; asset management industry experience, particularly intermediary distribution, strongly preferred
Strong analytical and presentation skills; advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM tool) with experience exporting and analyzing additional data sources (for example Wallet share, DST Salesconnect and/or similar distribution related sales and competitor datasets)
Familiarity with the following investment vehicles a plus: open/closed-end private funds, non-traded REIT, Interval Funds, BDCs, and Mutual Funds
Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy
Strong process-orientation with a client-servicing mind-set
Outstanding project management and prioritization skills, with experience leading strategic initiatives
Ability to use data to make strategic decisions
Results-oriented and entrepreneurial, proven ability to work creatively and analytically
Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designation.
