The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is currently seeking a
Videographer/Video Producer to join the Media Department in its Washington, D.C., headquarters. We’re seeking an experienced video storyteller able to plan, shoot and edit various
IBEW video productions at a highly creative level; to assist with operations of in-house studio facility; and who works well in a team setting and coordinates with other departments to serve the membership of the IBEW and the goals of the labor movement.
Representative Major Duties:
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in video production either in television, corporate or nonprofit environments. Knowledge of different cameras and editing systems required. Experience with Premiere Pro/Adobe Create Suite a must.
Also preferred: experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar motion graphics; previous work or understanding of issue-based campaigns; experience developing video content for social media channels; commercial production; licensed drone pilot or willingness to learn and get licensed; familiarity with the labor movement.
The position will be based in Washington, D.C., with the potential for hybrid work and the requirement for regular travel.
