Principal Application Security Engineer

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, PHP, Javascript, and Ruby
• Experience with application pen testing tools like Burp or Zap
• Knowledge of modern web, mobile, and network security
• Confidence in working across cloud environments like AWS and GCP
• Ability to communicate technical security concepts to developers

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure security team, compliance team, IT, and product teams
• Plan and execute security measures to prevent cyber-attacks
• Participate in threat modeling and code reviews
• Coordinate bug bounty program and incident response activities
