Trust & Safety Specialist I 

As a Trust & Safety Specialist, you will make judgment calls about whether all sorts of content break Vimeo’s rules and be able to explain your decisions to internal teams, users, and third parties in plain language.  You will be primarily reviewing flagged contents, user submitted moderation appeals and copyright match appeals.

What you’ll do:

• Moderate video, platform content, and account behavior to ensure compliance with Vimeo’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Review and decision user appeals, optimizing for efficiency and accuracy
• Validate and process copyright notices and communicate with users about the status of their inquiries in a timely manner
• Review Copyright Audio Fingerprint match appeals submitted by the Vimeo users
• Investigate and remove suspicious user accounts, and restore accounts that have been mistakenly identified as inauthentic, spam, or fraud
• Understand and follow escalation protocols, communicating openly with stakeholders
• Respond to internal escalations and questions from other teams in Slack or email
• Assist in reviewing our documentation (Internal Knowledge Base, Help Center articles, and macros) and suggest changes to improve content
• Troubleshoot, triage, and vet issues reported by users and staff, reporting bugs to the engineering team
• Identify and implement potential improvements to workflows and internal tools

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• Min 1+ years of experience in Trust & Safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Completion of graduation from any university/college
• Strong computer skills 
• Sound judgment and analytical abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to comply with standard processes and procedures
• Should be comfortable working 24/7 rotating shifts and attending late/early meetings with global collaborators
• Prior user-generated content moderation experience a plus
• Must be comfortable viewing adult and/or possibly disturbing video content
• Previous Zendesk experience a plus
