Virtual Desktop Administrator - job 2 of 2

CSA is looking for a Systems Administrator who specializes in administering and deploying VMware Sphere 6, 6.5, or 6.7 and Horizon View with a solid background in designing and documenting new infrastructure deployment to help us manage systems to support our Navy client in a secure modernized computer environment.

As a Systems Administrator on our team, you’ll ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available and the virtual desktops are properly configured. You’ll help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in managing users and computers in an enterprise network. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent
Analyst I
Years of Experience: 10
General Experience: Complex problem solving, software, systems, business processes, cyber security, network, hardware installation, network management, enterprise communications, information assurance, system administrator, data standardization.
Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification OR qualifying bachelor degree from an accredited university
Specialist III
Years of Experience: 6
General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration
Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification OR qualifying bachelor degree from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience with administering and deploying VMware Sphere 6 or higher
Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems
Experience with Dell or HP server management
Experience with implementing DoD STIGs
Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or NaviCLI
Experience with EMC XtremIO or Unity storage arrays
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
VMware Certified Professional 5 Certification or higher
Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification for a designated Operating System
