Position Summary
We are looking for a high-performing, creative, and analytical Content Marketing Manager at Virtuous. You will be instrumental in developing and executing our content marketing strategy to elevate our brand presence, engage our target audience, and create demand for our solutions within the nonprofit sector. You will have the opportunity to create compelling content across various channels, establish thought leadership, and contribute to the overall success of our growth efforts. This position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with Virtuous Software's mission and marketing objectives.
Industry Research and Insights: Understand the Virtuous customer and the different types of content that would be interesting and relevant to that audience.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content, including blogs, case studies, eBooks, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and more, catering to the needs and interests of nonprofit professionals.
Content Distribution: Identify opportunities to repurpose content and distribute it across various channels, including email newsletters, social media, video sites, and third-party publications, to maximize reach and engagement.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of content marketing initiatives using relevant metrics and KPIs, and use insights to optimize strategies and improve results.
Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content aligned with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team, including marketing, sales, customer success, and product, to align content initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
3+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the SaaS or nonprofit sector.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in SEO, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
