The Senior Manager of Acceptance Risk Solutions Management for the Indirect Segment will be a key member of North America Risk & Identity Solutions Product Office, which is accountable for financial and operational performance of Risk & Identity Solutions in North America. This role will be specifically responsible for working with the head of the product office to help tell the story of how Merchant and Acquiring-facing Risk and Identity Solutions offerings, other offerings, and partnerships come together to solve client needs/use cases and drives telling of this story through various channels (critically including direct client conversations). This individual will also work closely with other leaders across the team to provide real-time market insights, intake and triage client needs and coordinate roadmaps, and share feedback on ongoing go-to-market efforts. This position can be based in the San Francisco Bay area or Atlanta area, and some travel will be expected.
Specific responsibilities include:
Developing use-case, segment, and client-specific perspectives on solutions that solve key client problems/needs
Coordinating with Visa Generalist and Acceptance Solutions Specialized sellers to ensure familiarity with use case solutions
Participate in pre-sales client discussions to whiteboard innovative or enhanced risk offerings or lead future roadmap discussions
Serve as primary intake channel for client requests into prioritization efforts (including understanding options and true needs), completing pre-sales activities
Support sales teams in driving identified issues and questions to resolution
Support in development of business cases to support prioritization efforts
Serve as conduit for gathering client feedback, and synthesizing feedback for product requirement purposes to ensure voice of the customer is represented
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualification
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD
•Bachelors and/or 8-10 years of relevant experience most likely found in risk /
financial services focused management consulting role, strategy and / or
operations roles at a payments company (e.g., a payment facilitator, an
independent software vendor, acquirer), or risk roles at a merchant, acquirer,
fintech, payfac, or marketplace
Preferred Qualification
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic /
professional experience
•Typically requires 12+ years total experience with 3-4+ years of post-graduate
experience in relevant area
•Experience in and/or significant exposure to the merchant and acquiring-facing
risk industry preferred
•Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams,
with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business
problems
•Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and
processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual
and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze
sophisticated financial modeling
•Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to
senior managers and external business partners
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a
peer with functional and regional leaders within Visa
•Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees
throughout the corporate strategy function
•Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent
presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
