LAC’s Visa Commercial Solutions is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead product and platforms ecosystem in the Brazil region
The Manager, VCS Brazil Product and Platforms is responsible for managing and delivering solutions to solve the transaction management, purchasing, expense and accounts payable needs of all our Brazil visa partners and their clients working closely with VCS Head in Brazil, BDs and other cross functional teams in local markets. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, vision, curiosity, critical thinking, visa solutions knowledge, financial analytical skills, creative problem solving and thought leadership.
He/She will be part of LAC VCS Product & Platform Team and will work collaboratively with Brazil VCS Sales Team as well as other teams, ensuring alignment of market positioning across all areas of Visa Commercial Solutions.
This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and deploying new VCS products/features and enhancing existing capabilities The incumbent will lead VCS product initiatives in Brazil region including product management of the Product Ecosystem, core products enablement, data solutions, APIs Solutions, payables solutions and services with a particular emphasis on supporting growth of VCS in the Brazil region
The role involves working with the extended VCS Product Team to identify gaps as well as new requirements for Innovative B2B payment solutions that meet issuer and end client needs in Brazil region
The role will require the talent to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment while delivering on a strong, aligned approach with regional and local teams. In addition, the role will require product strategy and product management experience, understanding of product development, B2B payments landscape (Issuing, Acceptance, new vertical and data management), products and platforms that exist within visa and visa business solutions. Knowledge of Visa core products and compliance, virtual account, payables, and expense management solutions is a plus.
Essential Functions
Become a subject matter expert, leveraging data, insights and market research to understand and distribute key information regarding B2B commercial competitive landscape, trends and portfolios performance across segments & verticals.
Identify product gaps, assess market readiness, efforts and requirements for delivery of new solutions and capabilities working with key internal Visa stakeholders, including prioritization, release timing and market communication.
Collaborate with local teams, VCS specialized sales and Product & Platforms team to align product strategies in Brazil region.
Identify product, platform and capabilities enhancement based on markets needs and competitive landscape, leading prioritization efforts and go to market initiatives jointly with LAC Products team. Lead efforts targeted at driving progress of VCS Value-added services in Brazil
Work with Technology to ensure new use cases and capabilities deliver expected user experience and are on time and within budget.
Execute Visa Business solution roadmap against overall commercial targets for all solution types and use cases in Brazil
Lead the definition and implementation of B2B products & capabilities that will drive growth of share and revenues from non-traditional business payments and other emerging strategies
Partner with internal and external constituencies to identify, research, and analyze new technology-based products, services and capabilities, solicit input for concepts and enhancements
Define and prioritize a strong operating model with Visa’s technology partners on specific Product Enhancements and Product specifications
Manage B2B product gaps and new requirements for market delivery with the Commercial Platform and Technology Teams including prioritization, release timing and market communication.
Strategize with partners on major initiatives and opportunities, leveraging customer interactions to identify new and enhanced products and services in Brazil
Using known or collected electronic payments industry knowledge to drive new product opportunities for our issuers and downstream clients.
Client interaction with corporate/treasury banks, Card Issuers, Acquirers, Processors and PSPs to understand their needs and pain points.
Cross-functional interaction within Visa including Compliance, Client Readiness, Legal, Regulatory, Risk, Sales, Marketing, Product, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy and Technology
Business and platform architecture enhancement management
Ensure the program and projects are in compliance with Visa's Project Management Methodology and Key Controls and that accurate and timely information is reported regularly on program progress and financial status.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
• Requirements include a minimum of 5+ years progressively responsible experience in Project/Product management.
• Understanding of mobile payments and platforms, systems integration, and digital payments.
• Understanding of B2B payments and cash management solutions is desirable
Preferred Qualifications
• Broad knowledge in payment technology, B2B solutions, Data Solutions and APIs
• Proven project management skills, strong attention to detail and execution focus
• Knowledge of all electronic payment types including Commercial card payments.
• Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources.
