Job Description

The Product Intake Senior Manager is responsible for managing the intake, review, and prioritization of new ideas and solutions using the Jira Align Ideation tool. Utilizing the Ideation process to assist in building out requirements and business cases for new product development ideas. Driving demand and prioritizing accordingly. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the most valuable and strategically aligned ideas are identified and executed upon. The scope of the Intake will include all Ideas generated by the regional sales and solution teams representing client, country and strategic initiatives. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

1. Manage the intake of new ideas and solutions using the Jira Align Ideation tool. 

2. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to encourage the submission of new ideas. 

3. Review and assess the potential impact, cost, and alignment with strategic objectives of each idea. 

4. Prioritize ideas using the Jira Align Ideation tool's scoring system based on predefined criteria. 

5. Move the most valuable and strategically aligned ideas into the product backlog for development. 

6. Partner with the Idea originator and product portfolio leads to drive the prioritization of the demand in the Quarterly Execution Planning process. 

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, regional solutions, sales, and customer service to ensure timely and successful product releases. 

8. Regularly review and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with product strategy and goals. 

9. Review project schedules with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by project activities. 

10. Communicate effectively and proactively with senior management and stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks. 

11. Measure and analyze product performance and customer engagement metrics to inform product strategies. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management or a related role.
Proven experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
Experience with Jira Align Ideation tool or similar ideation management tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box to find creative solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Strong project management and time-management skills.
Proficient in product management software and MS Office Suite.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 134,900.00 to 195,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
