Our Business Development Representatives conquer the cinema market by selling hardware to our clients. In this role you will handle the day-to-day operations of providing top of the line hardware solutions to our customers. To be successful in this role, you should learn and understand all aspects of our offerings, processes, and the cinema industry to continue our impressive growth and delight our customers with great products and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive hardware business within designated sales region (North America) by generating and qualifying leads through outbound telecommunication efforts
- Successfully implement lead generation strategies to drive sales growth
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support to prospective clients
- Interface with multiple teams across the Vista Group, including Finance, Marketing, Client Success, and Support
- Assist with internal processes and Admin work as needed to place and process Hardware orders
- Understand and pursue market opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of current and new Vista products and features, becoming a functional expert to provide guidance and answer customers’ questions regarding functionality
- Know and understand our customers’ business model, operations, and team
- Maintain CRM regularly with relevant details throughout the sales cycle
- Listen, respond, and follow up proactively
- Make decisions that align with the best interests of the company and the customers’ needs
- Understand the cinema industry and how the Vista product relates to it
- Maintain a basic understanding of current Hardware offerings to customers
- Participate in team meetings
- Run point on special operations or initiatives
- Promote collaborative working relationships across teams
- Contribute to developing internal processes and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two to three years’ experience in a sales role
- Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
- Ability to create and maintain positive and collaborative team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience is a plus
- Travel may be required for the role, mostly domestic

- Point of sale or payment hardware experience is a plus
- Friendly, positive personality, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Type at least 50 words per minute
- Pay Rate: $68,000-$77,000 per annum + Commission
- Hybrid working (home/office-based split, requiring regular twice a week attendance in the Los Angeles office)
