About the role: 


Our team is growing in NYC! The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing the global HR Business Partner (HRBP) function, compensation strategy, and HR Operations. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR best practices, a proven track record of driving organizational change, and the ability to lead a diverse, global HR team. The VP, Human Resources will report directly to the SVP, People Operations to align HR initiatives with business objectives.


What you’ll do:
  • Lead the HRBP function to ensure effective partnerships with business leaders and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HRBP team to ensure they deliver high-impact solutions that drive business performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the HRBP team.
  • In partnership with the Director, People Ops, operate as the HRBP for the North America.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of incentive and performance-based compensation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international compensation and benefits regulations.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for HR team members.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement career growth planning initiatives to support employees in their professional development.
  • Create and maintain career path frameworks that provide clear progression opportunities for employees.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive succession planning strategy to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
  • Work with senior leadership to assess talent needs and create development plans for high-potential employees.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of global HR practices and cultural nuances, considering the company's international presence with a focus on North America.


What experience we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including global HRBP, compensation, and HR Operations.
  • Industry experience in Ad-Tech or Software.
  • People or team management experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong understanding of global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience with HR technology and data analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

At Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause compensation to vary.  Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position. The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $175,000 - $ 190,000 plus bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend. The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City and CA may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
