Visual Merchandiser/Sales Associate

Duties:

- Create visually appealing displays to showcase merchandise and attract customers
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement visual merchandising strategies
- Arrange and rearrange displays to ensure optimal product visibility and accessibility
- Use knowledge of retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions about product placement and inventory levels
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and replenishing merchandise as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering inquiries
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ensure store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves and maintaining visual standards
- Collaborate with store staff to execute promotional events or sales initiatives

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in visual merchandising or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail math principles for analyzing sales data and making informed decisions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
