The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior eCommerce Strategist & Project Lead to serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our eCommerce clients. You’ll guide brands through the complexities of digital commerce, bringing together cross-functional teams to plan and launch high-performing DTC websites and digital growth strategies.

This is more than a typical PM role — you’ll be the quarterback for each eCommerce engagement, leaning into both the technical and strategic aspects of site builds, platform integrations, retention marketing, and ongoing optimization.

What You’ll Do:

Lead eCommerce Projects from Strategy to Execution: Own timelines, scope, and success metrics for Shopify Plus builds, redesigns, replatforms, CRO audits, and retention campaigns.

Act as a Strategic Advisor: Help clients make smart decisions on tech stack, architecture, app selection, and growth strategy — connecting tactical decisions to revenue outcomes.

Translate Business Needs into Technical Requirements: Collaborate with UX, dev, and creative teams to define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and QA final deliverables.

Manage Internal & External Communications: Run productive client meetings, maintain proactive communication, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Drive Performance & Innovation: Analyze eCommerce KPIs and client feedback to identify opportunities for upsell, expansion, and continued improvement.

Ensure Operational Excellence: Keep projects on track, team hours in budget, and deliverables up to agency standards.

Requirement:

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in an agency, consultancy, or fast-paced in-house marketing team
  • Demonstrated success leading eCommerce initiatives, including Shopify Plus builds, email automations, and digital growth campaigns
  • Working knowledge of tools like Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads, Recharge, Rebuy, Yotpo, or Gorgias
  • Ability to speak fluently with developers and strategists about APIs, data layers, custom functionality, and modern web infrastructure
  • Strong command of eCommerce KPIs (CRO, AOV, LTV, CVR) and how they connect to digital experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence juggling multiple projects with competing priorities — and a strong instinct for when to escalate, simplify, or push back

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with headless commerce, Shopify Hydrogen, or composable commerce frameworks
  • Familiarity with ERP/PIM integrations, multi-currency, or subscription business models
  • Technical certifications (e.g. Shopify Plus Partner Academy, Klaviyo Partner)
  • Prior experience scaling a DTC brand with 7-figure GMV or more
