Voltus is the leading DER technology platform and virtual power plant operator connecting distributed energy resources to electricity markets, delivering less expensive, more reliable, and more sustainable electricity. Our commercial and industrial customers and DER partners generate cash by allowing Voltus to maximize the value of their flexible load, distributed generation, energy storage, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle resources in these markets. 


Position Description

Voltus has an immediate opening for a Marketing Campaign Manager (MCM). This MCM will be laser focused on extending Voltus’s messaging and differentiation through email campaigns, trade shows, in-person events, webinars, and advertising. This role will report to the Associate Director of Marketing. 


This position requires direct, tactical experience in executing campaigns across digital and in-person channels. Knowledge and past experience with HubSpot and Salesforce is required. In addition, this role is responsible for measuring, tracking, reporting on their marketing campaign effectiveness.


The ideal candidate is super action-oriented, has a go-getter mindset, be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be highly organized and communicative/collaborative on projects. The successful candidate will epitomize Voltus’s core values of Bright, Gritty, and Good and will have a deep desire to be successful in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Jointly own, create, and execute on a marketing calendar with Associate Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator
  • Manage prospecting and upsell email marketing campaigns to meet enrollment deadlines and opportunistic campaigns based on program news, current events, and grid conditions
  • Host industry and topical webinars, along with assisting with in-person events 
  • Execute LinkedIn advertising campaigns 
  • Project manage PR agency in submitting abstracts for speaking engagements, along with helping to prepare speakers for presentations
  • Execute presence at trade shows - evaluate trade shows, provide go/no-go recommendation, liaise with Inside Sales to set up meetings in advance of events, purchase tickets, and track closed deals from events
  • Manage industry association relationships to extract the most value - help coordinate joint webinars and other association eventsDevelop automated reports to measure direct impact on closed margin 
  • Manage inbound marketing leads to ensure appropriate Sales follow-up and tracking
  • Innovate! Optimize marketing operations and processes to execute with greater efficiency, organization, and effectiveness


Requirements
  • A passion for combating the climate crisis
  • 5+ years of relevant Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Hubspot and Salesforce
  • A driver mentality - pushes projects and initiatives to completion while meeting deadlines
  • Confident - able to engage with customers and executives without overthinking
  • Excellent communicator with teammates and externally
  • Knowledge of Zoom and Webflow is a plus


$95,000 - $105,000 a year
