Retention Specialist

The Retention Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining Vonage customers by providing solutions to prevent customer churn and increase satisfaction.

Skills

  • Sales or Customer Retention experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and deadlines
  • Professional phone and typing skills
  • Good computer skills including emailing and Internet usage

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an acceptable customer save rate.
  • Handle inbound calls and correspondence to assist customers.
  • Identify reasons for customer dissatisfaction and provide suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Document resolutions and communicate customer feedback to management.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
