The Challenge 

We are an ever-growing tech scale-up looking for our first IT Support engineer to join our IT Team. You will be highly self-motivated and enjoy a hands-on approach with the operational and technical aspects of IT, including leading on the IT onboarding of new joiners and providing 1st line support for a global team. 

You Are: 

  • Delivery orientated and self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Able to build relationships and communicate well at all levels of an organisation 
  • Work with the IT Manager and the senior management team to deliver projects, upgrades and required changes 
  • Extensive knowledge in supporting device/endpoints, (MacOS & Windows) 
  • Experienced with using helpdesk software such as Jira Service Management 
  • Comfortable supporting Google Workspace & Office365 related issues 
  • Able to handle the responsibilities of onboarding new joiners into the company and offboarding leavers 
  • Able to maintain and update software and hardware asset registers 
  • Confident in diagnosing hardware issues and liaising with vendors for repairs and replacements 
  • Happy to work independently and with team members to deliver project goals 
  • Experienced in manage 3rd party suppliers and vendors 
  • Experienced in monitoring and reporting on progress against agreed objectives, ensuring that issues of concern are raised in a timely manner and solutions proposed 

Awesome If You Have: 

  • Provided support with migrating from Google Workspace to Office365 
  • Supported AV setups (Microsoft Teams & Logitech Rally) 
  • Experience using Microsoft Intune 
  • Worked in organisations with large software engineering teams
