About the Role
Houzz is looking for a Vice President, FP&A reporting to our CFO. Strong candidates should demonstrate the capacity to serve as an effective finance partner to functional business leaders and the senior management team. You will oversee a talented team of finance professionals and will be responsible for guiding, teaching, and developing this team to scale along with the company. We are looking for top performers that have distinguished analytical backgrounds, are excellent collaborators, and can lead and inspire teams.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a partner to our senior leadership team, including our founders and our CEO.
Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, and critical financial processes.
Develop, manage, and enhance the three-statement financial model.
Own Board and management reporting.
Develop frameworks to assess key initiatives and potential investment opportunities and guide resource allocation decisions.
Design the FP&A org structure; recruit, hire and retain team members in a fast-paced environment.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
An undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
10+ years of Finance experience, preferably with prior experience at a publicly traded company.
Early career experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, or other highly technical financial fields is preferred.
Demonstrated track record of building and owning complex financial models and deep understanding of business model drivers.
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks
This role has an annual starting salary range of $225,000 - $275,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience and specific work location.
