Location: Palo Alto, CA (hybrid)

We are looking for a data-driven VP of Marketing to lead our marketing organization and one of the largest revenue channels in the company, our Direct to consumer channel. You will own a full stack marketing team running $30M+ annual budget under distribution channels include but not limited to SEM, SEO, social, display, CTV, affiliate, DM, email, SMS, in-app and SDR.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead our entire marketing organization, own annual and quarterly planning and reporting on marketing initiatives' performance, with a focus on ROI and revenue growth
  • Drive and execute D2C business & overall marketing initiatives that are integrated across the organization
  • Develop and execute a highly efficient and diversified paid marketing strategy targeting SMBs
  • Lead the direct business marketing team to increase conversion and LTV with key dotted line reporting from MarTech engineering, and website product manager

What We Need:

  • 15+ years experience of growth, performance, digital or lifecycle marketing at B2C/SMB company. (Tech or InsurTech company experience would be a plus)
  • Successful track record of growing customer, reducing CAC, increasing LTV via cross-sell or churn reduction
  • Deep expertise with SEM/SEO. Experience with multi-channel full-funnel attribution
  • People management experience, ideally experience managing leaders
  • Experience with direct ownership over revenue targets
  • Experience managing marketing budgets of over $10M
  • Ability to make complex data-driven decisions and balance short & long term trade off
  • BA/BS degree required

The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $275,000 - $350,000. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees also have the opportunity to receive equity and a generous benefits package.
