VP of Commercial

Intro

We're looking for a dynamic VP of Commercial who will play a critical leadership role in growing our revenue team. You will lead our AEs, BDRs, Revenue Operations and Customer Success teams. You will partner closely with our CEO and VP of Marketing to craft our go-to-market strategy and, more importantly, lead and manage your teams in the day-to-day execution of our strategy.

We're looking forward to meeting executives who are high energy, seasoned in managing multiple revenue teams across an enterprise, high AoV sale, and who have brought new, complex products to market as a sales leader. The right candidate will have a demonstrable track record of exceeding performance goals at a fast scaling startup. We're excited about candidates from all backgrounds who are passionate about our mission to make mental healthcare accessible and available to young adult students in the U.S.

About the Role

The VP of Commercial will:

  • Report to the CEO
  • Directly lead and manage Account Executives, a Director of Sales Development, and VP of Account Management, and a Director of Revenue Operations by providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to help them, as well as their direct reports, to achieve our targets and grow as professionals
  • Be accountable for the achievement of our revenue targets, and the effectiveness of our sales and account management teams.
  • Develop sales professionals through coaching and training.
  • Partner with RevOps to in planning and revenue optimization to move key sales metrics that creates a system of accountability
  • Partner with Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally to build a holistic go-to-market engine.
  • Become an expert on our product and market, then partner with other executive to set forward looking strategy
  • Be a member of our Senior Leadership team

About You

  • 10+ years of progression career progress with experience in complex, high AoV sales processes
  • 5+ years managing growing GTM teams and a proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals
  • Played a key role in the success of a revenue team as the startup scaled through multiple stages.
  • A background in employer healthcare, enterprise software, or higher education where new deal sizes are a solid six or seven figures, multiple personas are involved, and the seller is the difference between a win or loss.
  • An empathetic leader - you know how to build the foundation of trust that will motivate your team. You excel at coaching reps directly, but also can zoom out and lead a team of managers.
  • Are performance driven - your standards are high, and you raise your teams standards and hold them accountable to them.
  • Make decisions based on data, and seek to improve processes by 1% everyday.
  • A knack for creative problem-solving and are comfortable asking for help and admitting mistakes

About Us

Mantra Health is a digital mental health clinic on a mission to improve access mental healthcare for young adults through clinical services, software, and design. Since our founding in 2018, we've built a comprehensive treatment service for young adults with mental health conditions. We've raised over $37 million to work with students at universities and colleges across the country such as MIT, Cornell, and the University of Minnesota. Our students see clinically differences in their mental health during treatment with us, with nearly two-thirds of students stating that Mantra's program helped them stay in school.

The total compensation range for this position is $400-450K OTE
