Job Summary
The Vice President of Global Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Interfaces with clients to understand their business needs, coordinates with country managers and process managers to translate the business needs into executable projects in various countries.
• Works with experts to design and implement integrated services and solutions.
• Works alongside other departments within the company to develop better customer and vendor experiences.
• Consolidates and documents knowledge on topics impacting the crypto industry as a whole.
• Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organizations operations division.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
• Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
• Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
• Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership on the operations of various services.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
• Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the contract process managers and contract regional managers.
• Quality control contract process management.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, so employee may be required to travel to corporate office based in California as needed.

Position Type and Expected Work Hours
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. but may be flexible depending on business needs.
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position but may be required to travel to corporate office based in California as needed (potentially up to 5%).
Required Education and Experience
• 5+ years of experience in-house with a small to mid-sized company
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Experience with global business operations
Preferred Education and Experience
• Masters degree
• Multilingual (at least one more language than English where you can conduct business communications)
• Accounting or business background
• Law background
• Experience with crypto industry
