About the role

We're growing fast and looking for a highly-talented, driven and self-motivated product and marketing leader with 15+ years of experience. In this role, you'll work across our Dremio sales, business development, partner, product and marketing teams to develop cross-functional go-to-market plans, messaging and content that drives the growth of Dremio's business. The role requires a deep understanding of our market, the competitive landscape, our products unique capabilities, and our customers main pain points. To excel in this role you should have a passion for analysis, storytelling, and driving growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyzing the marketing, competition, and customer success to determine the best cross-functional GTM strategy to drive business growth.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that constantly improve our growth engine.
  • Lead and develop a team of PMMs and outbound product managers.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Dremio's products and concepts, and synthesize that knowledge into crisp, compelling messaging targeted at data engineers, data architects and data executives.
  • Produce high quality and useful content that communicates both the value and functionality of Dremio's products and solutions. Content includes white papers, reference architectures, case studies, sales enablement material, tutorials, web copy, demos and more.
  • Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction.
  • Develop market and competitive intelligence, acting as a thought leader and expert in the space.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology. MBA and computer science or engineering degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience marketing highly technical products, ideally related to data management and/or analytics.
  • 5+ years leading Product Marketing or Product Management teams.
  • 5+ years in the data and analytics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive company revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to position technical products to both technical and business buyers.
  • Experience driving product-led and community-led growth (PLG).
  • A command for writing with excellent composition skills.
  • Ability to develop creative and compelling messaging that clearly articulates and reinforces Dremio's unique differentiation.
  • A collaborative approach to the product's market with demonstrated ability to earn trust with Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Sales and Marketing organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence without authority internal leaders, customers and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and summarize data with actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

The compensation range for this position is $170,000 to $230,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Depending on the position offered, the on target earnings (OTE) may include a bonus, MBO or commission.
