Overview:
Job Summary
The Solutions team is responsible for driving the strategic design, development, piloting, and scaling of new solutions for naviHealth. These solutions will be built through initiatives to bring new technology-enabled clinical and care management programs to market. The VP, Solutions will be responsible for leading initiative(s): bringing an idea from business case stage through piloting and testing phases, and up through scaling and launch.
The VP, Solutions will partner closely with functional leaders to develop and build out new solutions. They will also be an integral part of the Solutions team, partnering with the Leads of Strategy & Innovation, Solution Development, and other Initiative Leads to ensure successful evaluation, build, and launch of new solutions. In addition, the VP, Solutions will work closely with senior-level client stakeholders to commercialize and, when appropriate, co-develop new solutions with our key customers. The primary focus for the VP Solutions will be on the design, evolution, and maturation of two of our growing programs, Readmission prevention and Home Health management. This individual will be responsible for strategic direction of these programs, ensuring we have a portfolio of ideas and initiatives to support growth and value delivery within these spaces.
This individual will have a combination of skills including experience standing up and running an operational function or new business; commercializing clinically-oriented programs and partnering with payer and provider customers; understanding of strategic rationale and ensuring each initiative delivers financially, clinically, and strategically; and building and managing a team to manage and optimize new Solutions. The VP Solutions will lead a team of Solution Directors and Solution managers tasked with shaping the strategy, growth, and evolution of these programs.
Responsibilities

Working from a business case and set of hypotheses, develop and execute on a testing/piloting plan, defining key unknowns and milestones to ensure solution growth and success

Evaluating and executing on buy vs. build decisions, including partner evaluation, potential M&A and integration, defining internal requirements, and partnering with Solution Development to build out new capabilities and enhancements internally.

Synthesizing business cases and strategic objectives into a business model, workplan, and priorities; creating a shared vision and leading internal and external partners across different silos, workstreams, departments, and stakeholders to deliver on that vision

Collaborating closely with Operations and Development teams to achieve strategic, operational, and financial alignment goals, reconciling strategic priorities and resources to ensure efficient execution and delivery

Engaging with client partners to test business model, pre-sell, co-develop, and/or commercialize the new solution; leading client discussions around the Solution and driving growth through both existing and new client partners.
- Defining and establishing reporting to track and improve key financial, clinical, and operational metrics and milestone

Establishing clear value-creation levers and metrics of success, and partnering with Operations to ensure delivery on those value creation levers. Additionally, continually identifying incremental value creation opportunities.

Qualifications

Master’s degree/MBA preferred
-
Significant experience leading initiatives within complex, high-growth organizations
-
Previous experience leading Product or Strategy initiatives required.

10+ years of experience in healthcare preferred, including 5+ years of experience in management/leadership

Client-facing expertise required; experience in leading projects with Health Plan or Healthcare Provider stakeholders strongly preferred

Demonstrated skills for recruiting, developing and cultivating talent

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, leading and influencing others outside of own areas of responsibility, from front- line colleagues through senior-most executives
