VP, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the VP of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness leads, implements, manages and measures the integrated talent management strategy and results. The ideal candidate has experience in and is passionate about building and evolving systems and processes that are nimble, effective and grow with the organization in order to meet our short and long term goals.

The scope of the role is broad and requires active engagement with cross functional peers to align on priorities, create focus and pragmatically organize resources to drive development and improvement efforts that are most critical. VP of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness includes performance management, leadership development, talent assessment and coaching, organizational development and change, business transformation and organizational design, talent analytics, learning and development, and talent review processes for high potential identification, development, and succession.

Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Develop and manage Enterprise Strategy and L&D Framework to regularly assess, manage and improve engagement.
  • Set goals and develop a strong employee engagement culture to foster connection, trust, passion, and loyalty through the use of proven employee engagement initiatives.
  • Embed diversity, equity and inclusion best practices in our People Processes and Systems.
  • Work across People Team, Clinical and Operations to develop efficient and effective Staffing Strategies to support growth.
  • Facilitate short and long-term organizational capability requirements and understanding of critical roles into the talent review and leadership succession planning process.
  • Develop and implement a talent review process to achieve business goals and cultivate a workforce of top talent.
  • Research and assist in the development of training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to create and deploy practical organizational effectiveness solutions as well as design initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support company growth.
  • Utilize business and talent data analysis and insights to inform priorities and calculate the return-on-investment.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CPO and the rest of the Executive Leadership Team, as well as provide leadership and mentorship to the people team.

Your experience includes:
  • Utilizing strong analytical and critical thinking skills to influence and inform executive decision-making.
  • Analyzing complex business issues, including interpretation of financial, operational and talent data.
  • Working strategically and operationally with cross-functional organizational leaders to build consensus around Talent strategies and initiatives.
  • Evolving Talent Systems in a growing company.
  • Building scalable programs for the future while managing the day to day.
  • Translating the strategic to tactical and driving execution both inside and outside of the area of subject matter expertise.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and driving results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, or HR (MS/MA/Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience within a fast-paced, high growth, multi-site organization
  • Healthcare preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Google Suite/ MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) proficiency
