About ClientAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.The client is a national enrichment service provider with a mission to foster the joy of learning through a wide range of over 50+ STEAM, Life Skills, and Fitness solutions.Currently, they proudly offer programs at over 800 sites across the US, successfully serving thousands of students as evidenced by our 5 Star Google Business Review.Director Of Sales & Marketing RoleThe Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing overall sales and marketing strategy, including advertising and public relations.Overseeing a team of sales managers, they use data-driven strategies to set goals, track progress, and boost overall performance.Reporting to the CEO, they develop and oversee departmental systems to ensure customer satisfaction and team success.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To• Assign and monitor sales territories, target groups, and sales team quotas• Prepare and submit plans, budgets, progress reports, and annual sales reports• Maintain a deep understanding and conduct regular analysis of the education industry, market trends, competitors, and funding sources• Develop and conduct sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and promotional plans• Manage HR functions within the sales department e.g., hiring, training, performance reviews, etc.• Develop and oversee Regional Sales Managers' goals / objectives, projects, and priorities• Perform duties of Regional Sales Managers, as relevant• Act as company representative at trade conferences and conventionsQualifications• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Business Administration, or related field (required)• MBA or equivalent (preferred)• 7+ years of sales experience (required)• 3+ years' experience in the education industry (required) (ideally in the public school / CBO sector with familiarity with federal / state stimulus programs such as 21st CCLC, ELOP, ASES, etc.)• Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning• Ability to anticipate and approach all problems with a solutions-oriented mindset• Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage time, and multi-task with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment• Strategic thinker able to manage competing priorities and interests simultaneously• Demonstrate strong written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills• Experience and proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and various marketing tools (i.e., MailChimp, Constant Contact, GMASS, etc.)Why Join UsIn addition to joining a rapidly growing national educational enrichment service organization, you will be supporting youth nationally to foster a joy of learning and strengthen their 21st century life skills.You will join a team of passionate educators and professionals to strengthen our program offerings and organizational impact.This is an excellent opportunity for a mission-aligned sales and marketing leader looking to grow professionally and impact education services nationally.Employment Type : Full-timeLocation : RemoteJob Type : Full-timeBenefits• 401(k)• Paid time offSchedule• 10-hour shift• 8-hour shift• Monday to FridayTravel requirement : Up to 25% travelWork Location : RemoteJ-18808-LjbffrLast updated : 2024-09-06
